Nuclear Plant Safety Meeting Today

In order to best meet the safety requirements of operating a nuclear power plant, a group consisting of nuclear plant operators from: PSEG, Entergy, First Energy, Southern California Edison, Florida Power & Light, and Energy Northwest will be meeting in Florida today to discuss and agree upon best practices regarding INPO(tm) related data and reports.

This meeting has no affiliation with INPO and is not endorsed by the organization.  

As this group moves forward their input will help mold an automated solution that will be available to all nuclear plant operators for their outage, maintenance, and daily operations.

With Safety in mind, some of the goals of the meeting:
  • Avoiding Rework (Re-Scheduling)
  • Visibility of Processes and Key Metrics
  • Prevention of Process Failures
  • Identification of data/information related issues
Some of the reports that will be discussed:
  • Scope Stability
  • Schedule Adherence
  • Resource Loading
  • Weekly Resource Adherence
